During the final months of pregnancy, it becomes very uncomfortable to lie down. You can then use the Maternity & Nursing Pillow for comfort, relaxation and for a better nighttime. Here are two examples:
Lie on your side, with an arm and a leg
on the Maternity & Nursing Pillow.
Or support your back by placing the pillow behind you
to help you prevent falling on your back.
Breastfeeding your baby is natural, comfortable and easy. However, it will take a few days for you to settle down. It is now that you need to find a relaxed position, so that the milk flows out freely.
Observe the following steps in all breastfeeding positions:
1. Place the pillow around your waist and sit comfortably. If you want to enjoy backsupport place the pillows middle whether on your back or on your preferred side. Otherwise place the middlepart just in front of you.
2. Now: place your baby to the breast, not the other way round, so that the baby is comfortable to hold! Babies head elevated at about the hight of your breast.
3. Support your arms using the Maternity & Nursing Pillow as shown, to maintain this comfortable position. The micro bead filling in the pillow adapts to any position and allows you to hold your baby securely.
4. When the baby finishes the first few gulps, check once again, especially in the shoulder area, if you are sitting in a comfortable and relaxed position. If not, correct your position by using the pillow. By slightly thumping the pillow, the pellets will adjust to your needs.
The cradle holdThis ist the most comfortable breastfeeding position. Place the Maternity & Nursing Pillow around your side, so that it supports your back as well as your arms. Your baby rests safely in your stable supported arms.
The football holdPlace the Maternity & Nursing Pillow from the around the side to the front. Your baby lies safely in your arms. Hold the baby like an American football under your arm. The baby and your arms are comfortably supported by your Maternity & Nursing Pillow.

Especially if babies are placed face down there is a significant higher risk. This no matter whatever filling or size a pillow may have.
